Evan Levy is the Vice Chairman and member of the Executive Committee of The Amherst Group. Evan has decades of industry expertise representing and advising some of the largest national and international real estate companies on their most complex real estate transactions. Evan joined Amherst in 2024 from the international law firm Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP where he led the real estate industry group.  Previously, Evan was a partner at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, where he served on the management committee, chaired the finance committee, and led the real estate capital markets practice. 

Evan has been repeatedly recognized as a leading lawyer in real estate finance by Chambers and Partners and a Law360 Real MVP, among others. Evan holds an MBA from the Graduate Management Institute of Union University, a JD (magna cum laude) from Albany Law School of Union University and a BA (magna cum laude) from University at Albany.
